Backless bras?
where can i get a backless and low backed bra from in the uk?
iv tried google searching but its come up with nothing.
im a 36e so its hard to find them that size, im getting married in 33 days and the time is ticking quick!
Sorry to have to break this one to you, but you'll really struggle finding a bra that size that is backless. I won't suggest one of those stick on ones - they're good for if you're relatively average sized, but 36E is quite large, so it just wouldn't support you the way you need. Plus, you want to be comfy in your lovely wedding dress, so one that sticks to your boobs just wouldn't cut the mustard in my humble opinion! Would a multiway bra do? If so, check these out:

simplyyoursuk.drct2u.com/productc…

If not then this is the only other I can find, but this might work!

simplyyoursuk.drct2u.com/productc…

Hope these are suitable! Congrats on the wedding!

Edit - For your 'wobbly bits', why not just try some control knicks? I mean, you could get a basque that sort of holds it all in, and supports your boobs, but the only issue with that is that it wouldn't be backless...you might be able to get one that goes lower in the back though...hmmm
simplyyoursuk.drct2u.com/productc… - perhaps this might work? It's not unsexy, and it sits underneath where a normal bra might sit...

Do the invisible/backless bras actually work?
I need a bra for a backless dress that I will be wearing to a wedding. Do the invisible bras work? Does Victoria's Secret push up invisible bra actually push your breasts up? I have a rather small cup size and would like a bit more VaVoom. haha Thanks for the help!
I work there currently, so let me give you the REAL facts...and I have a small cup size so I can totally relate :)

There are several different styles, but it depends on your dress and what you are going for. At Victoria's secret, these are part of a collection "Style Secrets". Search "style secrets" on victoriassecret.com to see what I'm talking about. Go to the site to see the variety or to a store. (You might want to call to see if that store carries them too, to save a trip and gas if they don't).

If you don't have a VS, lots of stores sell them. They work, too. The difference is the quality of material, but purpose is the same. (rant to follow)

The only real way to get any real support from a backless bra (that is strapless) is if it has UNDERWIRE. or straps at least, but for a strapless bra...def. underwire.

however, those bras don't stick to your breasts like most invisible bras. They have sticky clear short straps (where the band or wing of your bra would be) that lay upon your ribs exposing your back. These go by actual bra size (band size and cup size, ie: 36B, 34 C)

The invisible bras that stick to your breasts have special adhesive that allow it to be reusable up to 25 times (that is, if after each use you clean it with some mild soap and water and let it air dry, otherwise it'll gather dust, lint, and oil like tape. Some are thin, and some have push up (or really a thicker cup with more padding on the bottom. Really, those more add volume or size to the breasts rather than lift, although it can add cleavage if you position the bra as needed. These bras are pretty much two squishy cups with a clear hook in the middle to join them--adjusting them further will give you a little more cleavage. Remember, no straps, no wires. no lift. gravity pulls your breasts down.

***please CLEAN your breasts before applying. Skin has natural oils, and dead skin cells, and there may even be lint or dust from your clothing, so you wanna get all that stuff off or it'll stick to the adhesive) and Clean the bra afterward. sounds silly, but you want to get the most out of it right? it also tells you to do so on the instructions that come with the bra.

ALSO: another option...
Depending on how low your dress is, (like say ending mid back than just above your butt) you could purchase a "low-back" bra, which has a wide strap that hooks on one end of the bra, wraps around the tummy, and reconnects on the other end. (Note, if you have some pudge on your tummy, this might not work out if you have a tight dress because the strap will dig into your stomach and make it appear that you have rolls, even if you might not even have any) Try the "Gorgeous Push Up" or "Very Sexy Lowback" (discontinued, but check semi-annual sale or online)

If you don't have a Victoria's Secret around, try department stores, Wal-Mart, or flea-markets, or even the smaller non-brand stores in the mall. (Remember you get what you pay for, and I've tried many brands, and some work amazing, some were a waste.) Lots of brands/makers make "knock-offs" of Victoria's secret bras. They perform the same functions and may also have similar features, but they won't have the technology like memory foam, or patented material, or softer fabric---these bras get tested for over 12 months before they get released in stores, so the price you pay comes from all that goes into it. But there are some hidden treasures too. I like Lily of France.

Before buying online, I really suggest going to an actual Victoria's secret to get fitted. IT'S FREE! You don't want to have to wait a week or two for it to come in, (or pay extra shipping for speedy delviery) and it does not fit. Waste of time. See the actual product itself in stores. (find locations on victoriassecret.com). Try it on, or at least look at it to see if you want to buy it). We are all trained to fit. If in doubt, ask for the "bra specialist". Go on a low traffic day or time period, or at least go on a day when you at least have time to try the bra on and find the right size and style that looks best on your unique body shape. Save money (no returns, no bras you won't ever wear) save time (no extra trips).

Vicky's secret isn't the only bra store, there are several other places that specialize in bras--just search around your area. Lane Bryant, Soma, some higher-end department stores) They have trained people who have knowledge about bras, and boobs, and sizing, and everything you wanna know. More pricey, but hey, you get what you need, you get the right size so you look amazing and you'll feel more comfortable and confident. (don't think that getting a bigger or smaller size than what you really wear will make you look good, the more custom fit the better---think super tight dress or super loose dress...not flattering, let's be honest)

haha sorry for the rants, semi annual sale is going on and it was a crazy day.
Do backless/stick-on bras only work for people with small cup sizes?
I'm 30DD and have a backless prom dress (it ties up with a long ribbon that criss-crosses down the back so you can see my bra strap) and have just been looking up backless bras... but all the models have a tiny cup-size, so will it not work for anyone of a larger size? Seeing as gravity is a factor here? :P
I am a 38D, and have tried all the gimicky backless and strapless bras out there. Gravity is indeed a cruel joke for us busty girls. In my experience, even if you can find one in your size, it will provide next to no support. And old trick I use from doing theater, is to use duct tape to tape your breasts together. It provides a lot of lift, and you can tape a sort of bustier around your front and sides to customize a fit that will not show under your garment. It really hurts to take off, even if you stand under a hot shower with it on for a while, but for a special occasion I think it works the best out of anything I have tried.
I hope this helps, even though it is a sort of odd-ball trick. Good luck and have a nice time at prom! :)
How do backless bras not fall off?
I have a backless dress and want to wear a bra for comfort and support im just wondering how they dont fall of???
I had a backless dress for prom, the one i got from la senza had clear bits of tape on the side that stick to your skin. It was great, supportive, invisible and lasted the whole night. You can re-use them too because you just buy replacement tapes. hope this helps x
Girls, do those self-adhesive backless bras work?
I have a a dress I want to wear and it has a very low back. I don't like going bra-less...I know there are those backless bras that stay on with adhesive but I'm just really skeptical...any experience with these?
Kind of , it just depends on your size, my sister uses them all the time but shes only an A cup, im a DD so they do nothing for me!!!
(Girls only) Why do you wear bras with a backless shirt?
I'm a guy and lately I have seen a lot a of women wearing backless shirt and bra with it. I just want to know why a bra if you know everyone can see your bra. I also want to know what you think about women that does this.
No I don't wear a bra with a backless shirt and to whoever does that, NO ONE WANTS TO SEE YOUR BRA OKAY? lol, just had to get it out
Are there any good backless bras for heavier chested women?
not too expensive though.
links please?
im a 34DD.xoxox
You know, this may sound odd...but have you considered an corset?

My cousin is a generously endowed lady and a reenactor, and she enjoys them because they provide support from beneath, taking alot of weight from her shoulders.

I don't know how "backless" you're looking for, but there are many varieties of corsets available.
Does anyone know of any bras i could buy that are backless and come in sizes as big as DD?
A friend of mine is wearing a backless dress to her senior prom and she has a larger chest.. We're having quite a problem finding a backless bra, since most only come in sizes up to C (NuBra, and natural bra) any suggestions are as always much appreciated!! =)
Check your local JcPenny... they usually have them or can order them. also we have a Plave in Pgh, PA that is called Lady godiva. they specialize in larger built womens Intimates. you may want to look for a store like that in your area also. Good luck and have fun....
Backless bras? Do they work?
I have this gorgeous dress that's completely back-less, and I've seen those sticky bras that are just cups that are made for these types of dresses. Just wondering if they actually work and I should get them. THANKS ! : )
If you have big boobs, I would try them out before you plan on wearing the dress.
i got mine from nordstroms and you just stick them on.
yes they work well! but make sure that you put it on right the first time or else if you take it off to re-adjust it will be less sticky.i used it for my prom dress and it worked very well!
They work if your boobs are smaller than C cups. My friend wears 34B and the sticky cups worked great for her prom dress last year.
I've got 34C's and I own one of the sticky bras, and it works just fine! It says the stickies are reusable, but I disagree. Just wear it around the house first so you get used to how it feels. :)
they work, my sister used the stick on bra that was the natural boob kind and it stuck for her...if u have a larger chest though at least a small D cup, then id say dont get it...i tried it and it didnt work to hold up the girls enough, someone with a C or smaller it works for tho...if ur girls need a good amount of support usually they dont give too much that u probably need, but if not then ur all good.
Didn't work well at all for me.
You would have to try them yourself though it really depends on the person. Try them before you wear the dress though.
